John L. Grasso Sr. • President/Founder/Owner
Mr. Grasso has worked as a detective for over thirty-five years, both in the private sector and with many federal and state law enforcement agencies. A certified polygraph examiner and graduate of the School of Polygraph Sciences, he has owned his own private investigative and security firm for over twenty-five years while holding a private detective license in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Mr. Grasso has worked with numerous Fortune 500 corporations across the country, investigating corporate theft and illegal logistical processes, as well as providing security consultation services. John Fitzgerald • Senior Investigator/Security Consultant
Mr. Fitzgerald joins C.J. after a decorated career with the Nassau County Police Department as a detective sergeant. He is a graduate of St. John's University and the Backster School of Lie Detection; he is a licensed private investigator in the State of New York and also has completed courses in S.W.A.T. team tactics and methods. Mr. Fitzgerald has participated in providing security for many high level persons around the country including celebrities, government officials and top business executives. He has also conducted polygraph examinations all over the world including South Korea, the Philippines and France.
John L. Grasso Jr. • Vice President Operations
Mr. Grasso is a licensed private investigator in the State of New York and graduate of the University of Delaware. He currently handles all aspects of operations within the organization including private investigations and security services. He has completed tactical courses in weapons and self-defense and appeared on A&E's television series, "On the Inside" regarding anti-terrorist tactics as it pertains to the security profession. He is an approved NYS security guard training instructor and is currently training security guards on all general topics courses. He has been with CJ for over 20 years.
Dominick Ferraro • Security Director
Mr. Ferraro is a former specialist for the NYPD Communications Division. He is a licensed private investigator and security specialist, and has been working for CJ for over 25 years. Mr. Ferraro assists in running the security division and is responsible for our direct security officer control. He is also a registered process server specialist.
Michael A. Suben • Lead Security Professional / Operations Manager
Michael has been with CJ for almost 6 years. He served four years honorably as a decorated combat veteran in the United States Marines with two overseas deployment and with experience in the Military Police, He then began a career in law enforcement where he served 17.5 years of service as a distinguished Police officer with the City of White Plains. Michael not only brings his knowledge and expertise to the company, but his leadership, attention to detail, and code of conduct allows him to take a lead role in supervision and operations for some of our most prominent clients. He has successfully lead teams of up to a dozen guards during critical client events with dependability and accuracy. Michael manages staffing and security operations to include operational planning and efficiency, implementing innovative strategies, and logistics while maintaining the highest level of safety and security to all congregants and their families. Michael’s communications skills and training in risk assessment, crisis management, and conflict resolution has made him an asset here at CJ helping us maintain a high degree of excellence amongst our competitors. He also holds a license as a certified security guard instructor for the state of NY.
David Wagman • Armed Supervisor
Mr. Wagman has been with CJ for over thirty years and has held many positions with our company over that period of time. He has been an individual operative and a site supervisor at many accounts held by CJ and now is currently employed in a “company-wide” armed supervisor capacity. Mr. Wagman uses the experience he has gained as a 30 year police officer in the Town of Greenburgh; to not only supervise the staff on hand but also assists with marketing and client growth in the region.
Scott Rubin • Sales and Marketing
Mr. Rubin joins CJ after an extensive career in the music and entertainment industry. He is a graduate of SUNY Albany and had owned his own music publishing company for over ten years. He has worked with and for some of the biggest names in music, televison and entertainment in many different capacities. He currently is providing support for CJ's growth and assists with all new business contacts while being a contributing writer on many entertainment, technology, and security magazines.
Avigail Serwatien • Office Management/Operative
Ms. Serwatien has been with CJ for 12 years in various capacities. She has worked as a security operative and an assistant investigator for most of CJ's most important clients. She currently operates the main office for CJ and assists in being the liaison to the Jewish Community and our clients. She was raised in the orthodox Jewish culture and provides the company with the knowledge and background to properly service this sector of our business.
